Morning all from Malaysia, I am heading Singapore soon, will fly out of to see the Airport and the Jewel, as its a number of years since been to Changi airport.
Any tips/advise for which is the best Oneworld lounge to go to at Changi? (I am OWS)
Also is it possible/easy to move between terminals for this, as flying Malaysia Airlines from Terminal 2, but see many of the lounges are Terminal 1? cheersThe BA lounge is ok, it was quiet when I was there last, can get busy in the evening with the BA12 flight to London.
Morning
Quick question. BA, Aer Lingus or Finnair for long haul business class? Thoughts?Indy
Morning from the CP Docklands where it’s absolutely manky out there.
Luckily it’s only a short walk around to the Prince Regent DLR stop so I shouldn’t get too wet.
I did twilight check on at LCY last night all very efficient and given the rain I’m glad I did as the case would have slowed me down this morning.
Not sure I’m cut out for 8.30 am flights these days but when I booked it was the only one with avios availability apart from the evening flight.

Depends where you’re going and your contentedness for doing additional flights
It’s a three hour ish flight from the UK to HEL for example. Which may not matter too much if too going east but adds on time going west.
Of the 3 BA clearly has the better route network.

Morning quick BA Holiday payment question, can I make a payment for balance due on someone else’s BA Holiday with the booking reference and surname? Thank you
Thanks for the responses everyone, I like idea of a lounge safari BB!
Just a note for Rob – the annual buy limit for Hilton points is 240k not 160k.

On the basis that apparently you can use anyone’s Amex to pay the cash component of a 2-4-1 booking I’d say yes. I haven’t tried it with BA but I have successfully done so in the last week using my Barclaycard to help pay my mum’s holiday booked through Saga. So if you can with Saga not sure why BA wouldn’t let you do the same.
Looking to book flight from SCQ back to UK, Iberia website showing Avios availability on a Vueling flight from 6,500 Avios but I do not have enough Avios in my Iberia account to drill in and see how much the cash element is! Does anyone know how much it is likely to be? Any issues transferring Avios to Iberia in order to see how much it is and then transfer back assuming it is not worth it?
Looking to book flight from SCQ back to UK, Iberia website showing Avios availability on a Vueling flight from 6,500 Avios but I do not have enough Avios in my Iberia account to drill in and see how much the cash element is! I’ve checked and on 14th October, it was 6,500 plus £21.40, and a range of other lower avios, more cash options.
I have no avios in Iberia and it still showed me the range of prices, with the notice that I might have to buy avios.
As it happens, I am flying out on Wednesday for six days and I simply bought a ticket on Vueling – but it was only about 10 days ago, and I am hand baggage only, so that was cheaper than the 1p per avios price.
Liquids limit officially raised to 2l at Edinburgh (and I believe Birmingham). Metal containers e.g refillable water bottles must however be empty

Edit: indeed B’ham airport confirms

Thanks, I can see it now! Not sure why I didn’t see it earlier. We will have a checked bag, which makes the Avios price slightly more attractive. I will have to go away and have a think!
We have got the A350 LHR to MAD flight on the way out which I am excited about!
Any recent experience of T5 Plaza Premium and/or Club Aspire?
Would one be marginally better, or potentially not require queueing at 1000h?!
Can I still book a Vueling flight via BA.com? I’m looking at LGW-FCO but nothing is coming up. Thank you.

When is this for? Is it a seasonal route?
If it’s not available on the Vueling website then that’ll be your answer.
This week, although I tried a random date in September on BA.com and everything was out of LHR, BA metal. I can see the flights on Vueling but nothing on BA.com. I wanted the 125 ticket number, so that I could enter the lounge.

Definitely worth checking all websites. I have just bought (last week) a single Vueling flight from London to Spain on IB website for August. I don’t have many Avios in IB, but could still see prices. My flight also includes hold baggage and seat selection and was cheaper than if I had bought an Avios ticket based on 1p per Avios.
In May (second BH weekend) we flew to SCQ. Bought cheapest return flight, which was booked through BA website at short notice. Again cheaper than Avios ticket.
Yesterday’s EZY2462 LIS- LTN was delayed 2+ hours, blamed on ATC restrictions due to thunderstorms on the outgoing flight, delaying the return. Is that extraordinary circumstances as they claim?

Yes, almost certainly.
