I have a booking (using Avios) for my family tomorrow on Qatar from BHX (2 adults + 2 kids). Qatar use the Clubrooms lounge at BHX as far as I can tell. However, I have noticed on the Clubrooms website that guests must be 12 years+. One of my kids is 12 but the other is only 6. Does anyone have any experience with what happens here? Do we get sent to a different lounge?

Not there, but I had a similar situation at the 1903 lounge in MAN. They have an over 16 policy, but it’s waived for passengers who have access by virtue of a business class ticket. This is however noted on the lounge website, and I can’t see a similar carve out for BHX.
But are you also saying you managed to get 4x J redemptions from BHX on QR at the start of half term? If so, congrats!

2 of the 4 tickets are the extra/flexible avios but overall its still a half decent deal averaged across the 4 redemptions.
