Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Companion Voucher – Number to call?

  • 1 post

Hi All – i have been given three numbers to potentially call at midnight to book an avios/companion voucher….1-800 247 9297, 1-800 452 1201 and 1-800 356 7127. I will be calling from Spain so i assume i have to call the ‘right one’ at 1am CET. I am looking to try and get 2x Bus Class seats from LHR – Tokyo on 10th May 2026 – so i am assuming i need to call tomorrow night (Weds)… i am a newbie to this so any tips on which is the correct number to call (and what platform to possibly use now you can’t call via WhatsApp) would be hugely appreciated. Cheers

I can give you the US number I used last year for the same unicorn tickets +1 800 247 9297

I recommend ringing before the appointed time the tickets will be released. I got an agent who wanted to convince me to wait to morning to do it with UK reservations. When i insisted he told me his shift was ending so he’d transfer me to someone else and cut me off.

Good luck. Let us know if you succeed.

BA flights are released at T-355 so you’ve missed the boat for May 10th, unless extra availability opens up.

There is absolutely loads of info on here about this process. For a highly-desired route like Tokyo it would have been helpful to do some more research in advance, but try these threads: I don’t think any of the numbers guarantee success at the moment, so you should probably start making an online booking as soon as the flights appear if you’re not well into the phone process by then:

Have a back up plan, and consider booking on Iberia if there is availability; your date will have been released at T-360.
