    Does there have to be seats available for everyone on a booking to upgrade using Avios or could you upgrade only 2 of 4 people on the booking?
    Thanks for any advice on ways round it if the answer is you must have availability for everyone to upgrade.

    You can upgrade 2 out of the 4 but they will have to split the booking so you will end up with 2 people on one booking reference and 2 on another.
