Emirates – cash and points (points value ?)

My son is looking to buy an economy price ticket on Emirates and has a some Amex points and wanted to know how much approx are Emirates points worth when using cash plus points

I tried to find something on it on the Emirates site but could not see anything and did it want him transfer points to then only find out they are not great value

Some tickets (depending where you go) show up as £295 off per 60,000 points, which is £0.0049p value

I will tell him in that case that he is better off keeping them even if he ends up spending them in Sainsbury’s / Argos etc

I have recently seen a better offer to DXB which is £369 off per 60,000 points making it £0.00615 now
