DP: Took Day2 test at Sofitel last night at 6pm.
My results came through this morning at 7am.
OH’s results still haven’t arrived (over 24 hours later).- This topic was modified 53 years, 3 months ago by .
So it took 45 mins in phone queue yesterday before being cut off, and another 55 mins this morning, but luckily got through. Seems that for OH the result came through but the lab hadn’t uploaded the result to the app or triggered the certificate.
So if you’ve been waiting a while for your results I would definitely recommend giving them a call (and expect to wait over 45 mins).I took the day 2 PCR at the Sofitel around 1.30pm yesterday (Wednesday). It was quite busy but didn’t have to queue more than a few minutes, lots of booths set up for self sample collection.
Got the result by email around 2.30am this morning.
So, about 13 hours in total.
Test taken on Monday at 3pm, result by 8pm same day. Outstanding service.
Did the test at 2pm today and my gosh, how difficult it is to conjure up 2ml of spittle after several glasses of champagne!
Took at 8.30am today. Still waiting patiently as is rest of the family who all tested at similar time
The results of my 2pm test arrived at 5am this morning.
Family of 4 took HALO test at LHR Sofitel yesterday (24th) at 1100. All results back at 1640 and all round very satisfied. It’s quite a challenge to get kids to produce the required 2ml of saliva but that is the only observation. No significant queues.
Hello, before I book this, can anyone kindly confirm if it is possible to cancel for a refund if you are delayed getting back to the UK?
Thanks.

I think they are flexible if you are delayed some hours, but If you want to cancel I’m not sure, maybe their website will tell you.

Results at 6pm. After being told on the phone would be at 5pm.

I spoke to them the other day as we’ve been stuck in NYC due to a positive LFD mid trip – Didn’t mention anything about cancelling as we’ll still need to do a PCR upon arrival, Halo said the booking is basically valid for 9 months and just do them on our return to the UK, whenever that may be, no need to let them know.
Did a test yesterday at 10pm (flight was delayed by an hour) and results this morning at 7am. Very pleased with this turnaround given that it’s New Year’s Eve/Day.
Meta – so did you just drop with Reception staff at Sofitel T5 at 10pm and still had your results by 7am next morning? That’s great. Looking to use this for a late arrival in a couple of weeks, arriving into LHR late after the other test suppliers have all closed.
Yes, I picked the kit from the reception, did the test in the Sofitel restrooms (you’re only allowed to do it there) and then left it with the reception staff.
I didn’t have do it at the restroom. Reception directed us (and a couple of other people) to a closed off seating area, which had plenty of space for everyone to do their spitting

You did the test during their working hours (think it’s till 8pm). It’s different outside these hours. There was no-one else doing the test when I came. No Halo Verifly staff either, the staff at reception just hands you the test kits.
No I did not.
Like I mentioned in my post I was directed by reception to that closed off area.Ok. I wasn’t and it just proves that the experience is obviously inconsistent.
Submitted test at 12:45pm today
Result received at 5:55pmGreat turnaround. We only got back from the journey home at 4pm so less than two hours quarantine (which was basically just unpacking our bags 😆)

Test submitted at 09:30 this morning.
Result arrived at 15:00Arrived home with the family at T5 yesterday (2 Jan) Did our Halo tests in a dedicated seating area at 8.00am and were emailed the results just over 4 hours later at 12.15pm. Excellent service! The actual point of being doing a test on arrival when you’ve already had to take one 24 hours earlier to get on the plane is another matter.
