I was just on chat with amex customer service and asked whether the HN will be renewed after the 30 of june and she responded very unambiguously “Yes it will be renewed from 1st July 2025”, which is not what i had previously heard.
I asked if she was absolutely sure and she said “Yes, I am sure. The end date it is showing will be changed on 1st July”
Not the first time customer service is ‘absolutely sure’ and confidently incorrect but has anybody been told the same?I asked about this last week and I got a very different answer to you.

I was told a few weeks ago on chat that it would be renewed but haven’t seen anything official.
Complete nonsense.
I did a bit of consultancy for HN last year and they told me (perhaps before they even told Amex) that the deal was being scrapped for Plats albeit kept for Centurions.
Unless there has been a total change of heart, it’s gone.
I was also very confidently told that the offer would renew on 1 July this week on chat with amex – I would hope they aren’t giving out incorrect information but maybe that is too much to ask.
On Centurion the HN offer is showing as running until 31/12/2025.
The Clos 19 offer ended at short notice (and now Clos 19 is no longer operating), it was replaced by an equivalent offer with Berry Bros. & Rudd, much more useful imo, but that’s only until the end of this month.
It will be interesting to see what, if anything, replaces the BBR offer, and what will happen for 2026.
Centurion have sent out more (worthwhile) freebies in the last few months than I’ve ever seen before, perhaps a sign they know they need to try harder.
As an aside – just got my Plat card through the post. Do I need to opt in to this offer in some way, or just make the transaction before the end of this month?

Usually these are opt-in.
Login to your account, look at the offers and it should be in the list, just ‘save’ the offer to your card and it’s ready to use.

dining credit there’s nothing to wait for, it’ll renew on the 1st july
HN offer, depends on whether it makes a big difference for you whether it renews or not…
I upgraded from ARCC to Platinum and the HB and Dining offers did not show after several days so I called and had them manually added. This took another few days to appear and you still had to activate them on the Offers tab.
HN is no longer advertised for new applications
What do we think it will be replaced with. Considering they never brought back the lounge booking credits, I’d expect that they will try to let the HN credit quietly exit out of the door and hope no one notices 🙂

The agent who spoke to me a couple of weeks ago said it’s being replaced with absolutely nothing. At least you could actually use the HN credit on something you might buy anyway ( booze and cosmetics for a start ).

I phoned Amex to cancel my Platinum this evening. The agent tried to persuade me to stay by running through the benefits as per usual. He mentioned the £100 HN benefit. I pulled him up on that however he was adamant that it would renew….perhaps a lucky attendee at the HFP party can double check… 🙂
I just had a chat with an agent on the AMEX app and was told it will definitely be renewing on 1 July 2025 through to 31 December 2025.
Surely 2 weeks left of this month they would have had comms if it was definitely being axed.
