Checking if booking this rate is good value – is it just 2X base points or even the elite bonus?

It’s 2x base and usually poor value unless you need those points to hit a status target

Ha, I did this once when my new employer paid for the travel & accommodation for my relocation. Just a way of getting something extra from that employer 😊
