Hi, I have used my avios to book a return flight from London to Helsinki. Having read your article a while ago about Finnair business seat on their A350. However I would like to change the return leg. Sadly the Finnair chatbot can’t deal with this and it wants me to call Finnair in Helsinki. The cost of this call is exorbitant. Do any readers of you very helpful articles know how to get around this other than cancelling the trip and rebooking?

I have done similar recently and recall just typing “agent” in the chatbot and i got connected to a real person who was able to sort it out.
The Chat function is hopeless at present due to this trikes and the subsequent huge demands. I have not been able to get connected this last week.
As a BA gold I find the lack of options when AY basic quite frustrating but perseverance is essential. It get better with improved status.
