Posting this from the Hyatt Place Whitechapel. I picked up a room via Hotels.com for £100 on the nose, this is a busy weekday night and rates across central London are ‘toppy’.
I’m delighted. It’s got all the amenities you require in a basic room, plus some that are missing from other cheaper brands (desk, minibar, kettle, iron). If the prices stay sub-£150 this is my new “go to”, and I might even start crediting to Hyatt rather than booking through hotels.com. There’s a recent review on the main blog if you want more information.

Interesting. Would the hotels.com rate count for Hyatt nights? Need 2 more for Globalist.
