Is an unused 2 for 1 voucher safe if a Virgin Atlantic Credit Card is closed?

I have the free version Virgin Atlantic Credit Card and spent over £20,000 thereby obtaining a 2 for 1 voucher which I’m aiming to use for Virgin Atlantic return flights in Spring 2023.
I’m thinking of closing the free version of the credit card however in order to apply for the paid version after 6-months have passed.
I just don’t want to risk losing the 2 for 1 voucher. I don’t think that will happen as the voucher is listed in my Virgin Red account but can anyone confirm that is the case, or advise on my best course of action? Thanks.
yes mine are still there
Thanks.
