Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Is it impossible to use a FTV at the moment?

I want to make a booking using a FTV.I believe you can only use a FTV if you call to make a booking. The phonelines have a message saying they are not taking new bookings by telephone. Does this mean it’s impossible to make a booking or is there a way of still doing it?

What type of FTV is it and what are you trying to book?

I’ve got three codes all starting with 125- then followed by 10 numbers. I’m just wanting to book a flight.

If the numbers start 125-4 then you can use them online.

There is a space after you’ve selected the flights to enter the vouchers It says something like “apply an evoucher / promo code”

Unfortunately they all start 125-2. I’ve tried using them anyway but I just get an error message.

Could BA be blocking the use of FTV’s? (or at least not hastening to fix any problems) .

BA was blocking some e-vouchers of mine before, because the original booking was made using a discount code.

They’d previously given me the full (pre-discount) value through e-vouchers, from which I did very well, but they must have realised this was not ideal for them.

Only way to book was via the call centre where the staff manually amended the value of the voucher to less 🙁

Call early and/or call an overseas exec club number.
