-
We are heading to Italy on 5th April for short break, which will be just over 6 months from our booster jab. We know arrival is OK now.
Finding it difficult to interpret rules for activities once there and whether we will need a test to do anything? Appreciate any help as a lot of sites are either only in Italian or not yet updated.
Would a simply test me lft be useable if so.When I went a few weeks ago, several places (border control, train etc) asked me for my ‘Super Green Pass’. You can download the app and scan your NHS COVID pass with it and it’ll convert it into a ‘Super Green Pass’ QR code.
I did an LFT with simplytestme before flying out but no one ever asked me for the result.
Thanks – done, we’ll see how much clearer info is on 1st April

It’s even easier than that, just show your NHS QR codes and they work as a super green pass.
Just as an update following short trip to Sorrento this week.
– uploaded vaccine doc and plf to BA booking a few hours before online check in opened.
– after that we didn’t need to show anything during our entire trip until joining the security queue for return flight which accepted NHS Covid pass.
– Masks required on transport and official indoor spaces.
Naples Airport did NOT let Club Europe passengers use their fast track!PPS Naples Airport lounge was good (and at least we were allowed in ok), although not large. Staff served you from buffet and drinks cabinet.
Hi, flying to Florence Monday 2nd May. I’m aware of the need for completion of PLF and we are both fully vacc, conf cert available.
Is it still the case we need to wear FFP2 masks inflight and in Peregola airport? TIA.
