Monzo / Apple Pay

Before I open an account, could anyone advise if topping up Monzo via Apple Pay is an option?
Their website doesnt provide much insight, apart from an article dated 5 years ago.

If it’s available, do you need a Plus or Premium account, or is it simply there with a Free account.

You can’t, no. You can add money via bank transfer, cheque, cash (for a fee) or using some fancy Open Banking thing.

You _used_ to be able to request funds via the MonzoMe link which allowed Apple Pay (debit cards only) but the Apple Pay support has been removed, and it’s now debit card only.
