Hi all – I”m planning a trip to Kenya for a family safari late June 2026.
I’ve booked 4 x club tickets using 2 companion vouchers for my outbound leg and am planning to book the 4 returns next Saturday on T-355 by calling up the BA Australia call centre.
Earlier in the year when I was checking it seemed that the LHR-NBO route has decent availability – and I was seeing Premium Economy for 4 pax on multiple days and this is what I would be hoping to secure.
However, as I don’t see my CV vouchers in my (or my wife’s account) now we can’t assess what availability is looking like. Could somebody check to if 4 x Premium Economy is an option for NBO to LHR e.g. for a T-355 date?
Appreciate if someone could help out!
@tygerbright – the BAPP CV only gives extra availability in Club World, not any other class.
Also BA only guarantees to release 2 PE seats for avios bookings, and at peak times this is often all you’ll see on the most popular routes.

That’ll be why Seatspy says there are 2 PE seats pretty much all of June to the 26th, but zero dates with 4 seats. If you still have enough Avios for CW, you have a very good chance of getting them and you can call BA to add the returns with the 241.
Bah! That’s super annoying 😒
I have enough points for PE only for my group as trying to save some for a future trip.
I could have sworn I saw 4 x PE available on phantom bookings I tried earlier … dunno maybe NBO became popular recently.
Oh well I can go Economy for all of us or risk booking 2 x PE and hope BA make 2 more available before next June … though sounds like this is unlikely.
Thanks for all replies!
Just one other point to note that the Australian line is only open Monday – Friday so you will need to call the US number if you want to book this Saturday
Good shout @backofdanet!
Another random thought.
I’m a few quid short of triggering a Barclays Cabin voucher. I wonder if I could use one of the 241 vouchers to book Prem Econ for 2 on the return leg and then use the Barclaycard voucher to book Econ->Prem Econ for the other 2 passengers in my group? Sounds like a way for all of us to travel Prem Econ.
I’m unsure though if the reward seats for BA 241 and Barclays cabin voucher are in different pools else I guess this wont work if there are literally only 2 reward seats full stop.
You can’t combine the 2 and either way, the availability remains the same (it is the same “pool”) so makes no difference sadly.
And Barlcays Upgrade Vouchers can be applied only to flights leaving from the UK, so you can’t use them on the return leg without booking the outbound at the same time.
