Just had and email, good news for upcoming travel:
Fee-free currency conversion limits
We are increasing our fee-free currency conversion limit for purchases made Mon-Fri by our Curve Standard customers from £500 per rolling 30-day period, to £1,000. You’ll hear more about this in the coming days.I received the same email. In return, they are probably doubling the weekend fee 🙂

They also fixed a 4.99/£5 fee spelling error on delivery fees for cards.. yayy
perhaps they should spend some time responding to customer emails and complaints insteadContacted Curve as they charged FX fee’s even when under the £500 limit. The chat said it was a known software fault and would refund all the FX fees. Keep a watchful eye on the fees.
Just had this email:
Don’t fly without your Curve card this summer, MattB – we’re scrapping weekend foreign exchange fees from 1 June to 31 August 2022.
So you can spend abroad with any of your cards and never get charged a fee. Yep, even your credit card! So you can use your credit card on holiday and rack up rewards points while you’re there!

Interesting, they mention there is a £1,000 cap on weekdays… Does that mean weekends are uncapped?
That seems to be correct (although with Curve you never know!):
“We’re doubling the monthly limit on Curve Standard, so you can spend up to £1000/month fee-free on weekdays. There’s no monthly limits on how much you spend on weekends”

That actually sounds really good, makes this a top choice for summer holiday hotel spends?
If you’re staying over a weekend but checking out on a weekday, pay the bulk of the hotel bill on the weekend midstay?
I’ve been charged for a weekend purchase. I imagine it’s because it took be above the £500 limit. I hope it’s a mistake. I’ve messaged them, but they haven’t got back to me yet.
