Platinum card bonus eligibility

If I log in to my Amex account and try to apply for a Platinum card, it shows I will get 95k bonus points. However, I am pretty sure my 2 years isn’t up yet. Is there a way to check this?

Only from your own records. You can’t rely on Amex customer service to give yuo a correct answer.

Does that mean the fact that it shows I get a bonus, even when I’m logged in is incorrect?

It means that if you qualify and if it’s been over 2 years then yes, if not then no.

I get the same offer, even though I hold the MR card, which would immediately disqualify me from the bonus.

The marketing is generic not targeted. Somewhere it will say ‘subject to eligibility’.
