Referring for BA Amex via Avios.com or the Avios app

I’ve just had an email through from BAC advertising that I can refer for a BA Amex via the Avios app or Avios.com. Is this new? They are offering referral points plus the enhanced 50k bonus on the BAPP compared to referring via Amex and only receiving 33k.
I’ve looked on the Avios app and the option is there but it’s not giving me a referral link. I can’t find the option on Avios.com

Reading the email again it sounds like it is getting confused with referring via Amex as it’s mentioning Amex T&C’s on making a referral.

I received this email also. I am unable to find the referral link via Avios.com. Anyone know how to find it?

on Avios.com its under the Collect Avios menu -> Avios Credit Cards, then it has a Refer Now link at the top of the page, press it and a referral link appears.

Thanks for that but it’s not showing for me when I log in. When I try on the app it just gives the referral link as {referralLink} and that’s it. Baffled

I am going round in circles on referral links this morning.
If I share the link from when I log into my account, then the “Continue” button is greyed out and they cannot progress
If I share the link from the Avios page, then the referral page does not load at all.

Is there perhaps an issue with the Amex referral pages this morning?

The links have been tested on Chrome, Edge & Safari browsers and using both incognito/private and normal windows.

I received this email and would like to refer someone with the generous terms described. Like you I cannot find anywhere better referral link to use. Just wondering if anyone has managed to use such a link since the offer was emailed earlier this week.
