Return of points after cancelling booking

Not sure about timing for a trip to Spain. If I make a points booking then later cancel it, how quickly do the points normally come back to my account?

Normally instant but some problems reported in this forum that occasionally require a phone call & 48 hour wait to rectify. I have had both scenarios apply to bookings I cancelled last week …

If you phone in they can usually do it instantly I did that when they had the sale on and I wanted to cancel and rebook but didn’t have enough points.

I did have to cancel 🙁 Points were instantly refunded, at least

Shame. Radisson IT is flaky as hell, often to your advantage. If they don’t show up then you phone and get them refunded … and then the original ones sometimes land as well ages later.
