P2 has the PRG and just exiting the “free” year. As far as I can see, she’s had 4 x 2500 “Rewards as you go” bonuses and has spent about £4000 since the last one credited her account last month. (I’m not sure if the date it credited aligns properly with spend)
Does anyone know if the counter resets as she enters her 2nd year? I think she might be too late to spend the extra £1k to max out the 12,500 points from first year.

The spend resets at each anniversary.
“2,500 bonus Membership Rewards points will be awarded to your Account for each £5,000 of purchases you make within the 12-month period ending on the anniversary of your American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Cardmembership. This is subject to a limit of 12,500 bonus Membership Rewards points.“
Thanks @JDB. I feared it might be, but I’d remembered this was brought in October ’22. (Part way into wife’s card year) I think though that they “caught up” and immediately awared 2,500 for what she’d already spent.
Suppose this situation could be worse- we could have spent £4,999 since last bonus.
