Forums Payment cards American Express Stacking Amex offers across cards

    Hi
I ran this past Rob on email the other day and he said this will work but I didn’t want to take up too much of his time so I want to check the mechanics of this will work before I make a booking.

I want to book a stay at the Londoner this week which is part of Amex FHR so will give me some extras while I’m there if I book on my platinum, but I also have an offer on my BA Amex for £100 back if spending £400 at the Londoner through the Amex Stays offer. Will it work if I do the following:

Book through Amex Travel selecting “pay at hotel”
I will have to select my Platinum card there but it should not be charged (if I’m right)
At the hotel, ask them to change my payment card to my BA Amex which should then trigger the £100 credit

    Will that work?

    Thanks
