T5 First Wing liquids allowance?

Hi all – When I went through the First Wing in April one of the staff mentioned about the different rules for the amount of liquids I could take through but I can’t remember what he told me. Can someone confirm this please? The return journey isn’t an issue.

At FW you can now take up to 2l fluids through now.
Note if for any reason FW is closed, the general/fast track security is still using the 100ml limit

Is this referenced anywhere on the LHR or BA websites? This is indeed good news, but still not news I have seen elsewhere.

No, not mentioned elsewhere as its not LHR wide.
FW reintroduced the higher limit in May as a new trial as I understand it.

Unless it is specifically listed somewhere I would work within the 100ml restriction rather than hope the higher limits apply and risk losing possibly expensive items.
