Would someone please sense check my logic for regaining Silver?
Silver expires 8th November, grace period until 31st December 2023. Will earn 320 TP in November 23 (after 8th) and a further 320 in January 24, so 640 TP in total by mid January 2024, at which point I assume regain Silver and valid until 31st December 2025.Have I calculated correctly?
TIA.Yes assuming you’ll also have flown 4 x BA coded/IB coded & operated flights
The 320 TPs in November will flip you up to Bronze, if you have 2 BA/IB flights.
Then back to Silver in January.
Your existing Silver status should override the Bronze until 31Dec, which is useful for seat selection and other benefits.
So in effect you will be Bronze just through January.
All assuming that BA’s dreadful IT systems don’t stuff up!Thanks both. All flights BA metal so the 4 easily ticked off. Soft landing to Bronze for a short period in January then and Silver to end 2025.
