Hey everyone,
Booked an Avios reward flight from Mexico City to London (BA242) for 2 Apr in First Class so excited about that but would love to know how I can find out what type of aircraft it will be?
Are there newer variants as well and how do I tell as I can see some 787s have new First Class seats and others do not
Thanks
B788s don’t have First, the sector might be too far for a B781, so my guess is B789.
B789s don’t have ‘new’ First.
if you do a dummy cash booking then click on flight details
eg On Sep12th BA0243 is a 787-9
I’m not sure which 787s have the newer seats and of course planes do change

It’s been a 789 for many years, ever since the route ceased having a daily 747.
