Downgraded yesterday after completing the 10k spend via the app after it was showing and then not showing during the statement period and appeared yesterday again.
Selected the blue Barclaycard Avios but haven’t received any confirmation but I read that the necessary confirmation will take place prior to the beginning of the next statement period. let’s hope that is the case.

I was thinking of purchasing a GC from Harvey Nics in June and then in July and then hoping it tracks and pays out. Still waiting for my Morrisons to be paid out since March 29 on my platinum.

I pay all my bills at coop using paypoint, council tax, utilities, water and rent if you have a social housing landlord that takes payment via PP.

read the T & Cs thoroughly as they sometimes may offer a bonus period of X number of points per £ but when buying selected products you will get the normal X points per £.

I mostly shop via John Lewis and have received most of my points being tracked barring a few chase ups, one change that I have observed is that estore calculates the amount they give out minus the VAT of the total price.

Looking to make a trip down to the Ivy Tower Bridge to purchase a GC in the restaurant – I have £70 of unused credit left and will put to towards a trip to any of the Ivy restaurants later in the new year.

That will keep me having the Platinum card for the next 2 months looking to close it as I have hit my £6k spend bonus.
