I am short of 30k Emirates skywards miles for a specific redemption I am planning. This is after emptying out my Amex MR stash. What is the best way to buy those miles? is there any other program that may have a bonus to buy and then transfer those points/miles to Emirates?

I am guessing the answer will be no, but – can a companion voucher be applied to an existing Avios booking? My wife didn’t have a companion voucher of her own, and she’s flying with our daughter later in the year. I got my wife her own BAPP with the latest 70k offer, and I’ll put the required spend to trigger the bonus + voucher in the next couple of weeks. Will BA be able to apply the new voucher to her booking?
