just come back from Antalya on an Avion Express operated BA flight, with Club Europe…. zero legroom (i’m only 5ft8), no recline, tray tables are too small
the only somewhat impressive aspect was that there was no curtain, but they made damn sure that no economy passengers used the front toilet
it is disgraceful that BA can get away with offering a CE price for a flight operated by this plane
23rd July 2023 at 18:21 in reply to: Qatar Avios flight, oneworld Emerald paying for seat selectionayearinmx 47 postsI’ve had similar issues with Avios redemptions on BA metal, where it defaults to my BAEC (blue) account and won’t let me add my OWE account. The solution that I’ve found works for me (there may be others):
– Go to Finnair web site and Manage Booking
– Add your OWE FFP details
– Delete your BAEC/other (non-status) FFP details (this is the important bit, it seems)
– Go back to BA (or possibly QR in your case) web site where you should now be able to select seats for freeThank you! This worked for me and I have since chosen my seats. Much appreciated

I can’t seem to change this online, but can I do it over the phone?ayearinmx 47 poststhanks for the detailed response, this is on my Amex Platinum card…. normally, I’m a hotels.com guy, but with there upcoming change and me spotting this offer on my card, i figured i’d give it a bash!

ayearinmx 47 postsi flew Business BER-HEL-SIN / SIN-HEL-BER in June and July….. 3 of the 4 legs Avios and TPs posted. 1 leg, the outbound HEL-SIN did not, which is 140 TP and will be the one that pushes me into Gold, except that it still hasn’t posted. I have tried ringing and I have got emails to say they are looking into it, but it is a frustrating process, especially as I won’t be able to get to 1125TP by Dec31 if this doesn’t post
sorry i can’t be more help, but i thought i’d let you know you aren’t the only one

In theory it looks like it should all work the same, and I’m factoring in the foreign payment charge, but otherwise, business as usual?
ayearinmx 47 postsThe current one is about 50k ‘points’ short of the one they held earlier in the year 😉
It’s hard to want to sign up, knowing they might do that offer again
