Agree with all the above, after a good 4 night stay.

Car Parking is in local car parks, but there were a few in easy walking distance and even on Easter Weekend had capacity.

I’d recommend booking for dinner – restaurants seemed busy and relatively early to close.

Bus network is ace for getting around so would also suggest leaving your car behind if you’re planning to explore locally – with the current £1.50 cap. Also good service from the train station.

Previously I have been quite a regular customer of BA holidays, however is anyone else finding more and more they regret booking with them?

The hassle of needing to call to make the simplest of changes, the lack of upgrade offers and more often now finding that I can get better deals elsewhere means the additional Avios are rarely worth it. The protection of a package holiday is great along with only committing a deposit but with booking with confidence still available meaning I’m flexible till the last moment rather than locked in weeks before? Is there something I’m missing?

Cracking suggestions, thanks all. Already booked into the Cadbury North for after new year. Looking forward to getting out into the hills after Christmas. Recently been a little less impressed by AirBnB so defecting back to hotels…
