Lovely, thanks for the idea!

As with the 241, the BUV rules do state that you can only use up to two vouchers per booking.
18. A member can use up to two (2) cabin upgrade vouchers issued under their Barclays Avios Rewards or Card for any one booking.
Just tried to get a quote and that quoted. Not sure if it’ll go through but I’m not ready to book yet. Fingers crossed, will cross that bridge when get to it. Thanks for the heads up!

Have you tried:
“ Select my flight. Proceed. Close the window showing one Barclays voucher ticked so I can proceed a second time at which point it then allows me to also select the second Barclays voucher. Because that is so intuitive.”
I don’t know if this might work a third time for all three of you.
Failing that, call BA on a day where there is no flight disruption!
OMG this worked. How did someone figure out that this was the way to do it?!

Pants. I don’t mind paying full price for the other child but he’ll have to be on another booking? I suppose can call up and have them link the bookings but why do I feel like things are going to go wrong….
The 2nd adult needs to arrive 2 days earlier than anyone else which is why we can’t make a 4 people booking, or 2 bookings with 1 adult 1 child each. Would have made it so much easier. Such is life.

I’m so annoyed! I’m about £1.5k shy of hitting the sign up bonus! Need to figure out where else I can spend that £1.5k now…!

I got the same email. I also need to decide what to do as I don’t use Radisson that much and already have lounge access.
However my email had this paragraph, which might affect your calculations.
From June, Avios conversion will be available to all customers, including those on our Free tier. At this point, you’ll be able to convert your reward points to Avios regardless of your membership tier.
Huh. I did not see that quote at all at first! That was smack bang in the middle of the page. How did I miss that….
Well that answers my question then, I think most likely I’ll be downgrading to the free plan. Thanks KevinC!chinafish 16 posts
I made a comment in the retention offers thread, but I thought it’s worth it to mention it here too.
I contacted Amex by chat today to ask about retention offers on my BA black Amex, and they said I could downgrade to the blue card but:
“Please be informed that if you will cancel your British Airways Premium Plus Card you will also lose your companion voucher because there are taxes and fees that needs to be paid when one redeem a Companion Voucher, so if you cancel your Amex BA , you won’t be able to redeem it.”They ended up giving me the £3k spend for 10k Avios offer so I didn’t tempt fate to see if the voucher would disappear.

Just went onto chat to say I wanted to cancel my BA Black Amex as my year ends next week.
The first offer they gave was to downgrade to the blue card. And they say that:
“Please be informed that if you will cancel your British Airways Premium Plus Card you will also lose your companion voucher because there are taxes and fees that needs to be paid when one redeem a Companion Voucher, so if you cancel your Amex BA , you won’t be able to redeem it.”I didn’t think this was true, is it?
Anyway, I pushed and asked if there’s any retention offers for the Black card specifically, and they gave me the 10k bonus for £3k spend which I have agreed to.
Interested in understanding if I would really have lost my companion voucher if I downgraded?

It’s a really annoying 6 day grid instead of 7 so the weekdays don’t line up.
Plus 1st of the month is always at the top left of the grid regardless of the weekday it is.chinafish 16 posts
