I tried both. Qantas has a better seating setup / vibe, and feels fresher.
Cathay better food, but I like Asian food so maybe biased28th August 2024 at 08:54 in reply to: Heathrow Terminal 3 – Cathay or Qantas lounge?DanC 92 posts

On Android, I had a scenario where I check my GF and I in. and request the passes sent to the app. Mine were there straight away, hers took a couple of days. Luckily enough we had access to website and downloaded as a PDF and I whatsappd it to her…

Morning
1) Does anyone have a list / link to where I can see a list of Airports that the Fast Track will work?
2) How do you get the fast track, do you need to apply / request a voucher ahead of time? Thanks
You can find the facilities offered at each airport here:-
https://mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com/
Unfortunately they use DragonPass for this so it’s in a different app to lounges/restaurants HSBC now offers via PP.
Thanks… so it two app now… PP for lounge & dragon for Fast track :(.
Think I may look at Lloyds

Dublin T2 that is being used for the BA flight to London City. Very poor selection of food. Toilets are grim

So then in effect although my collection period expires in Sept, its like extending this to Apr-25. And so I will have 770 when the Dec Bonus hits thus into Silver

Thanks

Thank you for using chat support. I hope you’re doing well today and safe. I have read your messages above and I understand that you are not seeing yet the rewards point that you have transfer from your world elite to the British Airways and I apologise as this is beyond our scope and we do no have tools to check on this.
Please call our Digital Wallet team who will be able to help you with that. You may call them at 03456 002290 option 5 then option 1. Lines are open from 08:00 – 22:00 every day
That was the advice received by the chat advisor in the HSBC app.
Would you not call BA and ask them where the points are? or is if that HSBC take 10 days to send them as opposed to BA taking 10 days to process them

Bronze doesn’t get you into any lounges, but Club Europe does, yes.
I did wonder why people were asking about my Oneworld status
DanC 92 posts
CJust to confirm, from a tour of all OneWorld T3 lounges last month: the review links still stand, no changes of note!
Didn’t even sit down in AA.
Immediately clear there was no point in staying – grabbed some sweets to go and a cup of water.BA Galleries I will be using for breakfast on an early flight, and simple food options.
Cathay and Quantas very pleasant environments, good for hanging out and drinking. Both good showers, but Cathay definitely the best.
Indeed not much on offer food-wise unless in Quantas unless a Quantas flight is departing soon.
Next time (earlier flight) it will be Galleries breakfast and then Cathay lounging..
So if I am flying BA Club Europe, and have a BA Bronze status, I can goto the Cathay lounge?
Thanks
DanC 92 posts
Yes – but what is your cabin and Oneworld status?
I am in Club Europe. I in theory I will have just roled into BA Bronze
DanC 92 posts
So the reviews look a little old now. does anyone have any 2024 experiances of
American Airlines Admirals Club (LHR) Terminal 3
verses
British Airways Galleries First and Galleries Club Lounge (LHR) Terminal 3
will be around 17:30 in the lounge
DanC 92 posts
Thanks… Unfortunately I’m there this evening.
Hopefully the new lounge will have longer hours

The interesting thing is that the BAEC team were claiming they knew nothing about the offer. If anyone still has the original email I’d appreciate a copy
