    Good Morning, Insurance related. For a flight cancelled between DFW and IAD for a drizzle was moved by 20 hrs . Had an additional expenditure of Extra days car hire and hotel and Food. Do i claim with US airline or with HSBC premier or Nationwide.Should i go to Airline first or directly to Insurance?

    BA have called me twice yesterday and it took 5 days to act on my account, My cancelled flight booking was reinstated with a New booking reference, My email address has been updated from the hacked Email address , I have also changed password to a New one.

    My email address has been changed from gmail to mail by the offender.

    My account will be unlocked by the Audit team on Monday and the Avios balance has been restored to where it should be yesterday.Thanks BA.

    My only future flight redemption was cancelled when hacked , I have received a Full refund today. They didn’t deduct 35GBP per passenger which was strange as I have paid 27k Avios and 405 GBP and received 405GBP back to my card.Today being only third day for me.

    I have a household BA Exec account and have close in 1 Million Avious in the account and myself should have had 800k.

    My future booking for next April has been cancelled and my email address has been changed from (example abc.xyz@gmail.com to abc.xyz@yahoo.com).

    Just called the BAEC and my account has been locked and been passed for further investigation.

    I am not worried as I dont have immidiate flights in the near future and I believe my 800k Avios should be restored .They cannot give details about my account as it’s been compromised.

    How long would this take and likely outcome? Will they reinstate the flight for next Easter.

    Amazon is one of the retailers for 1% cash back on my Curve Metal. I get 1% on Amazon be it UK ,USA or India. This week i spent 1k on Amazon USA, I got 1% back instantly and another 1% today for the new International cash back.

    I was offered a Gold Card, Shall I call/Chat in few weeks. Not making spend on Amex Plat as I have VA+ card.

    My claim with HSBC has not been successful and was asked to make an initial claim with the airline. But I have taken the refund from BA. I will ask for additional costs from BA before i go back to Aviva again.

    I don’t think I can claim expenses from BA after I have taken a refund.

    I had to call HSBC premier today as it’s been more than 10 working days after I have submitted my additional documents for my claim to be settled.
    As they are super busy with claims the new SLA is about 15 working days.

    Going forward i buy tickets with Amex card for me to use Amex Platinum insurance. They never took more than couple of working days.Last December was in Dubai and had to claim on Amex Platinum for Medical reasons (Influenza B virus). Bill was about 260 GBP for blood tests and seeing a doctor.Bill was settled without me having to send the receipts or the reports.(Was warned I can be asked at random in next 30 days after the payment was made).

    My claim was reviewed after 10 working days due to the amount of claims because of Greece fires and ATC, The claim is still pending because as I haven’t taken a refund from cancelled BA flight and also they need letter from BA that the flight was cancelled.

    Europcar in Cairo wont rent out the car without IDP. The first time I took IDP was in 2012 and no rental company bothered to check and just took again this year as the T&C of Europcar specifically asks for IDP. Glad I took it as they refused to give the car without IDP.

    Made it back from Spain via TGV + Eurostar this morning.. submitted my claim to BA.. let’s see what happens! Wonder how long it’ll take to clear the backlog? Thought I’d try and get in early anyhow!

    I will be back in UK tomorrow as there is limited availability from Dalaman to London till Sept 6th.Trying to claim via HSBC premier as they have given 7500 Limit and have registered the claim on Aug 29th.

    I was offered 35k in the chat , do the points take 24-48 hrs to show up on the account. Its been just over 2 hrs still not showing on the account.

    Earlier I used to pay my Halifax mortgage with Curve .Now the terms have changed .

    We can only take debit card payments from customers named on the mortgage. We don’t accept credit cards or debit Mastercards (cards beginning with a 5).

    I agree before covid we could do takeaway for 60 Pounds even though we are just three of us (One daughter).Last August me and my daughter were sitting in the No1 lounge and was wife was only allowed to use 15GBP on the PP. Even when me and my daughter did turn up at the restaurant ,Wife wasn’t allowed to allow to use our credit as we didn’t dine in.

    It needs to be dine in and no take away .To use the guest credit the guest needs to be in the restaurant and not in lounge or elsewhere in the airport.

    Yes for one companion wit Plat for T2 Plaza and 5 others for T3 Amex Lounge (UK not sure of worldwide).

    Yes for all curve transactions including purchase of https://esim.me/ through curve.
    All curve transactions on WE had no points on my statement. All were curve transactions in my present statement.
