I just had my silver renewed with 380 avois last week. Not sure of the finer details but I definitely got an email a few months back stating it wouldn’t mention it on the app but I would get it.

Ok maybe there wasn’t a free flight but I’m sure there was a cheaper one with more points. We paid around 90,000 plus £500 for two of us.

Booked it, Heathrow to Cape Town. £250 each ( we didn’t have the points for a free flight ). Only in WT but not complaining. Think it was classed as a “Reward flight saver”

We’ve just had our Qatar flight changed to BA in September to LGW. Hopefully they will be flying then ?

Just to update, we have arrived at Doha and got directed to silver lounge south near gate B1. Looks quite new. A lot better than Gatwick this morning.
Nice upgrade on the BA flight to WTP was a nice bonus…😊

Just wondering how quickly you got your results after arriving. Did the hotel make you stay in your room until you got the all clear ?

I might be wrong but I think it’s down to covid paperwork. The airline need to check it personally before check in.
Hope that’s all it is, me and my wife are taking the same route on Thursday.
