The perfection some are expecting appears just not to be possible at weekends/ bank holidays, when moderators aren’t available.
It really is as simple as that.
A simple ‘I’ll reply on X day/ date with my contribution’ is all that’s needed.Richie 1,185 postsI’ve had posts go into moderation, only to eventually turn up. It’s not a problem.
I ain’t as clever as others, which is why I can’t do excellent long detailed posts. If I was, I would do a draft in Notes.
Richie 1,185 postsIt’s unreasonable to expect 24/7 moderating for these forums.
The site has to be secure.
If there’s a problem, it’ll likely be resolved in time.
In the meantime, keep a note of your posts.Richie 1,185 postsMost devices have a Notes app, consider drafting your reply there and then copying and pasting to HfP.
My guess Rhys is very busy today in NY and Rob is doing something with his family.Richie 1,185 postsA weekend trip to Spain. Somewhere via Madrid for extra TPs, with at least one sector LON-MAD in CE. Someetimes adding a flight+hotel deal can be good. Double check that you’ll have the 4 eligible flights.
Richie 1,185 postsI’d go Aer Lingus.

1st August 2022 at 16:08 in reply to: BA flight (AA codeshare) denied boarding due to boarding passes being invalid?Richie 1,185 postsThanks – they sent me pictures of their physical boarding passes, which were printed at the airport (which I didn’t think would even be possible had they not been ticketed). Either way, I’ve sent a complaint to BA to start off with and see what they say. It’s crazy to me AA was able to do this, without offering the slightest of help.
Do the boarding passes have ticket numbers in the pictures.
Richie 1,185 postsI’d pick a BA A380 flight to BOS.
Why? Aren’t the A380s still with the old CW seats?
Yes seat 53A or K, or 59A or K suit me fine.
Richie 1,185 postsI’d pick a BA A380 flight to BOS.
Richie 1,185 postsYes, I recommend them. Have done BOS, NYC and YYZ (AC). I’m planning to do AA’s ORD-LHR soon.
Richie 1,185 postsThis rumour is definitely taking flight.
Will it be new F and how many seats 8 or 12 or 16?
Will upper deck economy remain?28th July 2022 at 22:26 in reply to: BA Holidays double tier points offer – MASTER THREADRichie 1,185 postsThanks for the reply.
Yes, each of the 4 flights start with BA flight numbers. If you are through ticketed to LAX then it’s looking good for a stack of TPs, fingers crossed.
27th July 2022 at 19:20 in reply to: BA Holidays double tier points offer – MASTER THREADRichie 1,185 postsI’ve booked a September trip (LHR-JFK (BA)-JFK-LAX (AA) return (all in business class) plus hotels for a minimum of 5 nights) via BA Holidays.
Usually this would yield 560 tps.
Will the double-tier points offer apply just to the BA flights (LHR to JFK return) ie, an extra 280 tps or will it apply to all 4 flights (including the 2 transcontinental with AA) ie, 1,120 tps?
Thank you.Have you booked the AA flights with BA flight numbers?
