Does anyone here have the free VA Mastercard and the paid version. Did you encounter any problems taking out the 2nd card when applying?

You used to be able to use WhatsApp at VA to do transfers. Have a look in your account under contact 👍

Not sure any high street vouchers are excluded from points earnt on Amex. If you’re unsure just add a little bit of shopping on to the same transaction as vouchers / gift cards.
Purchasing Ihg or Hilton points usually goes through Rpoints site which I think do not allow Amex. I even find curve gives me issues so I tend to go visa /mc direct.

My creation Ihg card still shows active on my credit file after being closed over a year ago with them.
Can anyone recommend what I need to do to get this card officially closed as creation cs keep fobbing me off?

In the BA account when searching reward availability or booking reward flights there is a tab upgrade using points.Click on that and your Barclays voucher will show to use.

Prices for F&B have certainly increased in the last year or two. Even a meal for two at the Rangali bar is now getting expensive.
The Room service F&B comes from the Rangali bar kitchen and if your status you get delivered free.
Still happy hour there for early drinks.

So day 1:
Small online transaction authorised, second declined.
App keeps giving 0002 error code when logging in.
Chip & Pin used, still no Curve / PayPal allowed.
Called up – 1 hour wait time.
Ppl talking about chat facility – where is this found in the app please.

I haven’t tried SMS verification, but if you’re in a pinch you could try the app verification. That has worked for me, though iOS app doesn’t actually send a push notification so you have to open the app and tap the bell where you can approve.

I think it was literally 5 seconds before a red error message appeared stating I had not entered the code so wouldn’t have enough time to click out, open app and tap bell?

I’ve activated the card today online, made an online purchase – all went through fine.
However, it will not load to curve or PayPal. How long do you wait after the first purchase made until it’s able to load on curve or PayPal?

How quickly does Tesco credit points credit to clubcard accounts- is it monthly?

They wouldn’t even let me top up a card today Whilst just testing out a route.
Looks like it’s a purchases only points card then paid off by top up card double dip.

I had a Monese account for all of four weeks then out of the blue it was locked.
Took me three weeks to get £500 back from them after lots of KYC info sent in.
I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Metal fronted works but 1.5% on free curve card or no fees on metal.

Usually when I’ve checked IB against BA AVIOS the amount required for exactly the same flight using our IB account has been less AVIOS.
