Lived in Switzerland twice in my life – first time in my 20s, second time about 20 years later. As a destination, Zurich beats Geneva hands down for me. However, it does depend on what you want to do. Also time of year – as John says, November isn’t the best time to travel to be honest….

Thanks everyone. The old deleting and adding again trick seems to have worked…

Thank you. I am a bit of a technophobe – not good at searching. Need to ask my son to show me how….

I did advise her to contact BA – she didn’t.

My question I guess is when faced with a “we’ve rebooked you” email and your options are accept or rebook, can you simply ignore this? What happens then if you simply don’t show up for your rebooked flight? In other words, how do you demonstrate you don’t accept the rebooking if you either choose not to contact them or if you can’t get through?

The “not working on Barclaycard” anymore is hugely frustrating, as it’s one of the reasons I’m a latecomer to Metal (not the only one….). Hey, you win some, you lose some. Are there other cards (beyond Amex) that are good from a points perspective – and which can still be settled via Curve?
