Had the platinum charge card for about 4 years now I think. Have previously received 35k MR as a retention, probably 2 years ago.
Saw the renewal fee post recently so called and got offered 35k which I accepted.

Just wondered, is there anything to stop me moving the MR pts, and cancelling the card to get pro-rated fee refund. I would be more than a bit nervous doing this as I wouldn’t want to get a black mark against my relationship with them.
