East Coast Trains launches a sale from £10 for autumn travel

East Coast Trains has launched its latest sale, with tickets available for booking until midnight on Tuesday September 2nd.

Tickets start from £10 each way in Standard and £30 each way in First Class.

You need to book for travel between 12th September to 21st November.  The following dates are excluded: 4/5 October, 11/12 October, 18/19 October and 24 October – 2 November.

These tickets also qualify for East Coast Rewards points.  This is a pretty decent scheme, in my view, with just 50 points required to receive a pass for the First Class Lounge at Kings Cross. You will generate that from a £50 spend on standard class tickets or £37 spend on First Class, with any operator.

PS. East Coast recently changed its First Class lounge access policy.  Apart from London Kings Cross, you can now access First Class lounges on cheap advanced purchase First Class tickets.
