The small print

This is a good time to remind you that all products sold are subject to availability, and that occasionally The Wine Flyer may have to substitute wines for another vintage or a different wine of at least equal value. However you will find out about the change before you place your order, as the current selection will be updated on their site.

For full terms and conditions for the above offers, please see the foot of this page on The Wine Flyer site.

Delivery is free if you spend over £100. However, The Wine Flyer does not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, The Isle of Man and BFPO addresses.

Remember to place your order before 2pm on Friday 20th December if you would like your order for Christmas.

  • Barrel for Scraping says:

Maybe if AGL stopped paying for sponsored articles they could offer their wine at more competitive prices.

  • Matthew says:

It’s worth noting that BA silver members (and I assume gold, etc.?) get 10% off for the rest of the month. Combined with the 5000 avios it does make some cases a decent deal.

  • Richie says:

Sainsbury’s has 25% off 6 bottles of wine.

    • G says:

That’s a normal supermarket offer, same at Waitrose, Tesco, M&S, Morrisons and Booths for our northern readers

      • Richie says:

BTW There seems a bit of a rotation of this offer, it’s at Sainsbury’s at the moment.

      • Iain says:

Not too far north. Us Scots have the privilege of living under the SNP Junta which has banned such disgusting practices as multi-buy on alcohol.

        • BA Flyer IHG Stayer says:

Didn’t notice the SNP install themselves as the Scottish Government using force of arms.

          When did that happen?

        • Scott says:

Lowest life expectancy in western Europe, highest drug deaths in all Europe, alcohol deaths among worst in Europe. Whilst these problems won’t be solved by restrictions on pricing/promotions alone, do you think it’s wisest to:
          1. Make alcohol more freely available
          2. Make alcohol less freely available ?

          • Alex G says:

I think it’s wisest to educate people, and then let them maker their own informed decisions.

If people want to drink excessively, they will.

Perhaps alcohol should be made illegal? After all, that policy works so well for other drugs.

        • Toilet Paper Man says:

          SNP Junta??

First of all, the SNP were voted in a completely democratic election.

Secondly, Scotland has BY FAR some of the worst statistics for alcohol abuse among economically developed regions. What else do you recommend they do if not limiting pricing sales of alcohol?

  • MRC62 says:

In a recent redemption in Club World to Tokyo I got a minimum of 2.38 pence per avios so I am ordering a 12 bottle case of Spanish reds at £129.99 to get the 5000 avios which on the above valuation would be worth approx £119. I’m also Silver so get the 10% to start with making the case around £117. For me, this makes the wine free! Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s etc., is usually my go too at 25% off but not this time.

    • A says:

Think a more valid valuation of avios would be the lowest of the price of replacement or redemption.

  • Richie says:

Some undrinkable red may be needed for dinde au vin.

  • john says:

Virgin Wines still has their £20 off wine advent calendars. The Gin one is £30 off!
