Marriott Bonvoy has launched a new promotion which offers 2,000 to 10,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per stay.

It covers over 600 hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and is valid for stays between 27th June and 26th September.

You can find full details on marriott.com here.

Earn 2,000 to 10,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per stay

The bonus varies depending on the brand you stay at and the room type you book:

  • get 1,000 bonus points per stay on standard rooms at Element, Residence Inn, Marriott Executive Apartments, Protea Hotels, Four Points Flex by Sheraton
  • get 2,000 bonus points per stay on standard rooms at AC Hotels by Marriott, Aloft Hotels, Courtyard Hotels, Four Points by Sheraton, Moxy Hotels
  • get 5,000 bonus points per stay on premium rooms at Autograph Collection Hotels, Delta Hotels, Le Meridien, Marriott Hotels, Renaissance Hotels, Sheraton, Tribute Portfolio, Westin
  • get 10,000 bonus points per stay on premium rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection, EDITION, W Hotels, JW Marriott

The definition of ‘premium room’ varies by property.

In all cases, you must stay for a minimum of two nights.

You will find that only certain rate types qualify for the bonus, so you will need to do the maths – as well as factoring in your need for a flexible rate, breakfast etc – to see if the promotion offers value.

Participating rooms will show the offer during the booking process. You will NOT receive the bonus if you do not book a room type and rate which specifically shows it at the time of booking.

It will stack with any global bonus points promotion that Marriott Bonvoy launches between now and the final stay date of 26th September, although there isn’t one running at the moment.

Here are some Marriott Bonvoy hotels we have reviewed in the last 12 months and which are included in this offer:

You can find out more, and book, via this page of the Marriott website.

PS. Marriott Bonvoy is still running a special sign-up bonus of 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points – triple the standard bonus – when you take out the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card. You can find out more in this article.

Urghhh got upcoming stay in Canada. Shame no Americas hotels participated. 😢

Might just be me, but this seems inordinately complicated.
Does it also have to include a Tuesday night when there is a full moon?

  • Annih says:

Terrible promo. Might as well buy the points.

Presumably that’s why Marriott paid for the article. If the promo was any good then it would have been listed for free.

Manchester Marriott Picadilly doesn’t seem to be included.
    Manchester Marriott V & A does.

    Maybe just me.

Somewhat incredibly the Moxy (i’m a fan but wouldn’t pay £280 a night) Manchester is often Marriotts most expensive hotel in the north west.

Overly complicated offer which is just a turn off.

This offers runs every year it’s not this quarters promo it’s just a rate that comes with bonus points. Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn’t.

  • Michael says:

    Poor promo.

Unlike other promos which require registration and then you must meet the terms of the offer (e.g. a certain number of stays or nights), this is effectively booking a a certain rate, where the rate will effectively cover the cost of the points. The promo requires you to book through the landing page or using the Promo code on the page, which prevents you from using other rates (e.g. corporate/AAA/senior etc.).

I think “Promos” like this actually just annoy those of us looking for loyalty offers.
