Hyatt launches a double points promotion for hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa

For the third September running, World of Hyatt has launched a promotion which is restricted to its hotels in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The good news is that a lot of the small print which complicated the offer last year has been removed. You now earn from your first stay after registration and Mr & Mrs Smith hotels are included.

Note that, unlike last year, Asia Pacific hotels are excluded.

This is how it works:

• you will receive double base points (so 10 per $1 equivalent) on stays between 15th September and 1st December 2025

• you must register before your stay via this link although you do not need to rebook existing stays

• registration is open now and closes early on 1st November 2025

• you are limited to 20,000 bonus points which would represent $4,000 of pre-tax spending

• reward nights are included, with double points on eligible spend charged to your room

This is a decent offer. We value a Hyatt point at 1.2p so, at 10 base points per $1 spent, you are getting a 16% return on your pre-tax spend. Anyone with elite status in World of Hyatt will earn even more.
