I was at Goyard in Mayfair today. A woman tried to argue for 20 mins with the doorman that
her Amex Black Card had made an appointment for her. Doorman was very nice and patient and asked each sales assistant individual if they were expecting her. She was fuming at not being permitted to skip the queue and kept asking to be let in as she’d flown in especially and had a flight to catch to go back home.
I thought some of you may find that amusing
