Never thought I would agree with Andrew J on anything but yes, if I have to fly BA J my preference would be A380 upper deck CW and 53A if I can get it. Window pairs are good for a couple, and middle 3 are ok with one child although you lose the side storage space.

Also think upstairs at the back has the best long-haul economy seats going.
