Overnight stopovers are fine- especially in Chicago, as we have many friends there we can stay with. Most departures from the US to Puerto Vallarta seem to be in the morning (presumably for scheduling reasons- there won’t be that many connecting onto them and point of sale skews HEAVILY to the US for those flights!)

I’m now getting BA tickets showing LHR-XXX-PVR-XXX-LHR, but it’s just struggling with the multi-city aspect of it! Wonder if it’s a typical BA IT glitch…

I might just book two separate tickets – one LHR-ORD-LHR, and one ORD-PVR-ORD. Last time I went to PVR I flew via ORD, and had a stopoff there on the way back (my husband is from Chicago), and it was all booked through AA.com. I think BA were offering tickets, just that AA was cheaper.
