I am pretty sure you are entitled to access the lounge as long as you arrived on CW. The issue is more likely to be the lounge access staff at DOH. It’s a very busy terminal and they scan BPs for access at the bottom of the escalator going up to the lounge, so I suspect it will be luck of the draw whether they let you in.
The key is to avoid the attendants at the bottom of the escalator by taking the lift and see the lounge attendant staff at reception who are more likely know the rules better
