Yesterday I received an email from IHG offering –
“Just for you! Your IHG One Rewards Credit Card gives you early access to this exclusive offer.
Enjoy a 15% discount on Reward Nights* when you book by 28 October and stay by 16 December 2022.”
I previously had a Creation IHG card which was closed down like many others last year. Perhaps Creation have not told IHG that this card is now gone as the 15% discount is now showing when I look at making bookings for next month. I did not have to use the IHG card to make these bookings. Will they be safe?
I have diamond status in IHG and the email wording says “early access to this exclusive offer” so this may perhaps be arriving for all Diamond members soon.
Anyone else seeing this?

Same for me, they Creation binned my card for no reason a year ago and yes they’ll be safe. There’s no requirement to book with that card.
Not just Diamond, I got it as Plat.
Not only is there no requirement to pay on your card but there is no requirement to pay at all in the case of rewards nights and the discount applies to them too…
