Hi, im looking at making x2 seperate Avios bookings for an outbound and inbound leg. Not Companion Voucher related as ive already used that. I need to make them seperate to ensure ive secured each leg at T-355.
My question is can i do this using different Avios and cash amounts for each leg. For example i might do outband using less avios and more cash and inbound using more avios and less cash. Reason being is i dont have full avios to do both legs. Thanks

Yes, they are completely separate from each other. Good if you decide you want to change one leg, not so good if BA cancels one but not the other. The flexibility usually means that there aren’t issues such as you’d have with a non-refundable cash booking, however.
