Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club 3 people and 2 2for1 vouchers

  • 9 posts

I have 2, 2for 1 vouchers 1 of the old type and 1 of the new ones.

I assume that I can use both vouchers for 3 people travelling together but can I claim the 50% reduction for passenger 3 who will be on the new type voucher ?

I’m not sure if this is going to be possible as I think you would have to travel on both vouchers (AFAIK?) If it was 2 old or 2 new vouchers you could make a single booking (but for 4 people or not worth using a 2nd voucher), but you have to book old and new separately.

Unfortunately no. You can’t even use them to book for three people as you can’t mix the new and old vouchers. And you can’t use them separately but at the same time as you need to be the named passenger on each voucher which is obviously not possible.

If you have the new Barclaycard upgrade voucher you can use that for passenger 3, though it would need to be a separate booking.

But not if you’re going to travel in First, as you can’t use the Barclays voucher to upgrade to first

Unlikely (though not impossible) that there would be 3 x avios seats in F anyway. Though of course you could have 2 pax in F on the 241 and the 3rd in CW on the BC voucher.

Just did a random search and there’s quite a few North American routes available for 3*F right now (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Philly, DC). Obviously didn’t go into dates and you’d need to be flexible, for sure.

Also space to Saudi and Bahrain, if that’s your thing.
