I’ll be starting my journey at EDI and I want to book a Qatar redemption flight from LHR to SIN via ba.com and add a domestic redemption to get me to London so the entire journey is on the same ticket. I don’t think I can do it online, would I need to call BA? I appreciate there are direct flights with Qatar from EDI, but there’s no redemption availability when I want to travel.
Didn’t I read the other day BA charge additional avios starting outside London or is that just to certain routed and I have got muddled up? Ring both BA and Qatar and see how each price up in terms of Avios required? I might be wrong but Qatar may be able to add the domestic connection on BA?
Yes you’d need to call BA to book this if it’s not showing online and asumif. There are rewards available on both legs,
It needs to be done as a single booking and not as a book the long haul then add the short haul after as that’s not possible.
Of course, what you really want is EDI-DOH-SIN !
