Advance/Prepaid booking on IHG spend £300 get £75 back offer

Does the payment get triggered immediately on advance/prepaid bookings? I have a holiday in October, but don’t want to commit to an advanced payment if this cashback doesn’t get triggered.

A lot of IHG hotels don’t seem to take payment until just before the stay – you may need to contact the hotel and ask them to process it.

Gift vouchers trigger the offer? That’s good to know. Just short of triggering the offer, but no immediate IHG stays in the diary
