I have been reading on a local Facebook page that Aer Club benefits, such as lounge access, have been removed. Can anyone confirm, and if so, was this published anywhere?
I knew fast track was removed last year, as I used it one day, and 2 weeks later I was stopped at the gate and told Aer Lingus / Emerald Airlines don’t have use of the lane anymore.
Doubt it was published anywhere other than location removed for EI website. Assume emerald don’t want to be on hook for lounge access/fasttrack
Drop an email to AerClub for an explanation.
Not really an answer to your question, but BA Gold in front of me flying on Aer Lingus from BHD has just been refused lounge entry.
The lounge lady said access for BA Gold stopped on the 1st July, so some recent changes have occurred.
I didn’t know BA Gold was relevant on Aer Lingus as they aren’t Oneworld.
Aspire access in Belfast has definitely been removed.
AerClub members are definitely not offered access to the aspire lounge in Belfast city as of a couple of weeks ago , Belfast travelers being treated like 2nd class citizens as we get access to aspire lounges elsewhere. Personally i took out the Priority pass as i travel weekly , but it also means i now have the choice to take the slightly later Easyjet flight, so it will be their loss over the year as i travel weekly
